Is the security deposit fully refundable? โ€บ
Yes โ€” the โ‚น20,000 security deposit is 100% refundable upon check-out, provided there is no damage to property and all policies have been followed. Refunds are typically processed within 7โ€“14 business days of departure.
Can I choose a 3-month contract? โ€บ
The minimum contract duration at Palmstay is 6 months. We also offer 12-month contracts. For special circumstances, please contact management directly to discuss your situation.
Can guests visit during the day? โ€บ
Yes, daytime visitors (up to a reasonable hour) are permitted in common areas. All visitors must be registered at reception and must sign the visitor log. Overnight stays by non-residents are not allowed.
What happens if I want to leave before the contract ends? โ€บ
You must give a 30-day notice period. Early termination may be subject to a penalty depending on the contract terms agreed at the time of admission. Please discuss this with management when signing your contract.
Is Palmstay only for students? โ€บ
No โ€” Palmstay is designed for both students and working professionals. We welcome anyone who wants a safe, clean, and comfortable place to stay in New Town, Kolkata.
Are meals mandatory? Can I opt out? โ€บ
Meals are included in the Premium Package and are optional for Standard Package residents. If you choose the Standard Package, you pay only for the room and can buy meals from the ground floor restaurant as needed.
